Some time ago I purchased antique bronze façade letters that had simple, beautiful form and a rustic patina. I am drawing and combining the objects to be seen as spare, contemporary still-lifes, rather than words or a type-style. Typically, the objects are drawn in silverpoint on a prepared paper tinted to reflect the greenish-brown hue of the objects themselves.
